The Best Family Lawyer

Brian has been our family lawyer for more than 6 years now. He helped us gain guardianship of our grandchild and battled on our behalf in court and with DHS when false allegations were made and won for us. He has the ability and knowledge to show authorities on our case that we are the best ones to l...ook out for said child’s best interest. Would recommend him in every family court circumstance. He has been there for us every step of our adventure of the court process.

Worse Lawyer I know

I used Mr. Rabal's services twice and I truly regret it. I was hoping since he had experience with the first case, that the second try at it would have a better outcome. His letters to the other party are poorly written and leave vulnerability and loop holes for the other party to take advantage of. ...He is nearly impossible to get in touch with. The only way I could get him to respond was to call from a phone number that he did not recognize. He will charge you for every email, text or phone call you make to him. I was not able to go through with the case as far as I should have because I had zero faith that he stood a chance to win in court room for me. He kept telling me that he thought we would win, but I knew he did not possess the skills needed. I felt that using him all the way to the court room would cost me even more than he already did. Once I voiced my complaint to him he offered to pay what I felt I lost during due to his misrepresentation. I was not comfortable with that outcome but I named a price anyway. He agreed to it and we ended the conversation. He then called me back about 5-10 minutes later and he said that he had changed his mind and he felt he did no wrong. When I asked him how he came up with the figure related to my case, he had no response and blamed me. He will not look out for your best interest. I highly encourage anyone to not use his services. He “travels” all the time and will not give you the attention you deserve, please beware.

Personable, Good Value, High Integrity

Brian handled my divorce for me. He was effective and expedient with paperwork and filings. He was also quite competent in the courtroom. Above all, I felt he was completely trustworthy and absolutely "in my corner" throughout the proceedings.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. Brian is a competent attorney and I have worked on several custody cases in which he was the attorney ad litem representing the interests of the children. Brian's approach is very conservative and in no way reactive to any particular situation. He takes his role seriously. Don't let his goofy grin fool you."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
