Terrible

She assigned herself to my divorce case and I wish she of assigned anyone else. She was completely rude the entire time. She claimed to be this “alpha” dominant person who goes after what she wants and gets it….in the end it was all a lie. She got walked over and is a weak, passive lawyer. She will l...ie straight to your face and then two weeks later tell you something completely different. Don’t ever use her.

Good morning - you also made a google review with substantially the same allegations on our firm page under the name Kristie Kristie and I responded there. We have no client named Kristie or Jack in our system in the last 2 years. A hallmark of our firm is excellent client relationships. Countless clients return to Lion Legal for various legal matters because of our commitment to exceptional communication and exceptional results. Your allegation that we did some form of bait and switch is not well-taken because we most assuredly do not tell clients what they want to hear simply to get them to hire us. I'm confident that I've never used the word "alpha" to describe myself - but I do get the best results possible for every client based on their particular circumstances, including their budget. As with all things in life, a person's realistic legal options are controlled by his or her budget. While our firm has a large family law division, I personally rarely handle any family matters, and I have not handled a family matter in months. In all sincerity, I very much welcome the opportunity to discuss your alleged concerns in detail, and I encourage you to email me with your real name if you are truly a past client, so I can review your file and schedule an appointment with you.

Rude

I called to have a consultation with Tori and throughout the process of the call, she seemed as if she wasn't even listening. I was trying to explain to her my situation on my recent divorce and didn't even take into context what I was saying. She was just trying to push her opinions on me and was ...extremely offensive when I didn't agree with her statements. She reminds me of a child who gets upset when they don't get their way. Extremely unprofessional.

I've not had a phone interview/consultation with someone named Samantha recently - going back all year, I checked the calendar! I'm genuinely sorry you felt I was rude - certainly was never my intention. I am not the right attorney for everyone, and neither is Lion Legal. Emotional support is definitely not my strong suit! I'm a lawyer not a therapist - no sarcasm when I say that. Clients should not want a therapist-like lawyer. Therapists make terrible lawyers and lawyers generally make terrible therapists. My job as lawyers is to remove emotion from the analysis and provide clear, reliable opinions on how the LAW applies to a particular set of facts. In other words, what a judge is likely to order if we took the matter to a trial. We will never allow a client to hire us if we cannot realistically achieve the client's goals because those goals are unsupported by the law. It is often disappointing to callers if the law does not allow for what they want to happen in their case, which sounds like was the case here. I welcome the opportunity to discuss with you - please email me with your real name so I can review the notes and details and we schedule another complimentary call so I can atone for my perceived phone manner. Awful

Don’t ever use these people. They will lie straight to your face and promise you they’ll do all this stuff then not do anything. Literally doing it yourself would be better than hiring Tori. She didn’t even spell my ex’s name correctly when she emailed her lawyer. How embarrassing. Tori is an embarra...ssment to law and I’m shocked she even has a degree. If you need any proof I would be glad to show you. She’s extremely degrading and will make fun of you. Don’t use her. Doing it yourself would definitely yield better results.

For you readers out there, we won this case and he was thrilled at the end of the matter which was about 5-6 weeks ago. He did not pay the balance of his last bill to our office. This week he emails multiple times, demanding we do more work, incur more time, and incur out of pocket costs when he owes us money. Despite his comment that he doesn't have to work because his parents are "his own personal piggy bank," I do not work for free. Upon receipt of the email where I directly told him we are not doing any more work or incurring out of pocket costs without his balance being paid and a retainer deposited to cover the future work, he loses his mind the way only an arrogant middle aged man can: accusing me - weeks later - of not doing a fantastic job, because he's mad that I didn't do what he told me to do. It's amazing to me how folks want "aggressive" attorneys to "stand up" for them, "fight" for them, and not "back down".... but, then get all in a tizzy when those same personality traits appear in the attorney-client relationship, 99% of the time in the context of the attorney refusing to work for free, as is the case here.

Union Boilermaker

Victoria Leigh first helped me with my divorce. She delivered exactly what she promised. Since I have seen her work tirelessly for my family members and friends. We are lucky to have someone fight so hard for us. I recommend her highly if your life is on the line

Wish there was a 0 star rating

Victoria Leigh was hired to represent me in a divorce case. She did not file a single thing on my behalf. She did not help protect my children and got upset when I started filing things on my own to protect my children. They advised me not to do anything, actually advised me to abuse illegal prescrip...tion drugs and ride out the judges temporary decision, even though it put my children in very real danger. They breached their contract, dropped me right in the middle of my case, and actually asked for more money and more money, even though they did NOTHING. They refused to give me my file for my new attorney and refused to refund any of my money, even though I paid them for a divorce, they did not file a single thing, and I am still not divorced. They dropped me on July 15 and did not bother to inform me of this until July 23. They have terrible communication, went into trial completely blind, and failed to even try to help protect my 4 kids.

We did exactly what we agreed to do, what the circumstances required us to do, what the contract & recorded conversation confirms we agreed to do, and the results were exactly as we predicted. You failed to pay as agreed and refused to follow the court order. The paper file we had was returned to you & everything else was provided to your new counsel.

"Tori is one of the most knowledgable lawyers I know in the area of protecting clients from unlawful debt collection, which is not an area of practice that I handle very often. When I have a question in this area, I always call her, because she can always answer my questions or point me in the right direction. She runs a busy practice in North Little Rock, but she always makes herself available to those in need, and especially clients. If you're in need of help, especially in Pulaski County courts, let Tori roar to your rescue."
