|TX||Not Eligible to Practice - Administrative Suspension||2011||02/26/2017|
|AR||License Surrendered - Discipline||2010||04/03/2017|
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This sanction means the attorney resigned in order to avoid being disbarred, the most serious penalty for a lawyer.

He wasted a year and a half of my time. Do not respond emails and phone calls. My case was so simple and I got my application rejected continuously for three times because of his carelessness. Please do not use him as your lawyer.

Mr. Orta has failed to answer any calls or e-mails that I have sent him over the past 4 months. I have gone to his office to speak with him in person and after waiting for an hour and a half he didn't say anything and just left to make another appointment. He could have saved the trouble of waiting by stating that he didn't have time. He has wasted two years on my case with no progress made since 2014.

I have dealt with many attorneys with different areas of practice and in several states. I have never met an attorney so knowledgeable and attentive. My first phone call to Mr. Orta absolutely astonished me with his ability to think outside the standard protocol of advisement. Most attorney's don't take the time to think of ALL possibilities. Like I said, I have never been so impressed overall. I will use him in every possible situation from now on. If you need someone for criminal defense or immigration law, this law firm is where to go.

In 2013, Lawrence was kind enough to be a guest speaker regarding the practice of immigration law at the William H. Bowen School of Law. His passion for the profession and for his clients was evident. I endorse this lawyer.
