So helpful! 10/10

Marcy was amazing! I was from out of the state and was honestly so worried about everything. I had a minor criminal charge and didnt know the first step on how to take care of this. Marcy replied to emails fast, answered every single question I had, and helped me get the outcome I wanted in my case. ...Marcy took care of EVERYTHING and I totally recommend you hire her.

Dedicated and compassionate!

Mrs. Allen was assigned as my public defense lawyer. She worked as hard on my case as any lawyer I could have hired and paid thousands for. She stayed in constant contact with me and kept me updated on my case. She is very professional and super sweet! She got my charge reduced and made sure it was th...e best possible outcome for me and my future. I will be recommending her to anyone that is looking for the best attorney in Northeast Louisiana!

God send

I am so thankful that I hired Marcy Allen as my attorney. From the beginning she has gone above and beyond what I have ask of her. She was willing to take my case and allow me to work to pay her. She has answered every text or call or email and has worked with my D.A to give me the chance to succeed ...and I truly owe my life to her. Anyone who is in need of an honest and work to get it done attorney needs to call Marcy Allen.

Thank you, Jason, for the very kind words. They were perfectly timed, too. (I'm so proud of you, by the way!)

Restraining Order

I hired her without meeting her. She set a court date when I couldn't be there and explained (my bad). On May 18th she appeared in court without me and negotiated with the pettitioner out side of court room and settled for civil restraining order instead of temporary restraint order against me. I did... not have a chance to defend my self and present all of my evidence against petitioner. Then Marcy Lou Allen said for me not to contact her any more and would return my $750.00 dollars. I haven't received it may24th 2017 yet. This was the worst representation I have ever had with an attorney. Not only give them a bad court date but to negotiate with the petitioner without me is unacceptable! As I said I was able to defend myself with evidence against petitioner on may 25th in court. I live 335 miles away and my brother has brain cancer and I explained this to Marcy after she gave wrong date.

Dear Mr. Bonck, I am truly sorry that you feel as if I did not perform well as your advocate. That said, I cannot say that I am at all surprised that you have left this type of review. I only asked you to discontinue contact after you had repeatedly harassed me by email. I wrote you two letters last Thursday (following the hearing where I negotiated a civil stay away order be put in place rather than a restraining order). One contained personal belongings and an additional copy of the order, and the other contained every penny you paid me, despite the fact that the result obtained was in my professional and experienced opinion a good one and despite the fact that I had spent quite a bit of time working on this matter. I did this because it was more than obvious that you were dissatisfied. (And, I assure you that these letters were mailed as soon as the postman came by our office next.) This is really not the type of forum where I can do anything more to address your complaints. If you are able to communicate with me without being verbally assaultive, I will be happy to speak with you.

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
