Biography
Keith has successfully defended clients in City Court and Parish Court that were accused of drunk driving, drug possession and distribution, violent crimes (including attempted murder and murder) and sex crimes. The skills Keith gained from his numerous cases and countless hours in courtrooms in Monroe, Ruston, Tallulah, Columbia, and Bastrop are used today to the benefit of his clients. The negotiation techniques used and arguments made to Judges and Prosecutors are tested and ready to be used in your case.
Every case and every client is prepared for a trial. This may mean that investigators are retained and records are ordered before the District Attorney’s office provides a copy of its own file to Keith and his client. These extra steps taken at the beginning of the case puts Keith and his client in the best possible position to fight the Prosecution’s case.
Before opening the Whiddon Law Office, Keith worked as an insurance defense attorney for a firm in Monroe and was court appointed to represent more than 300 children in Louisiana’s Foster Care system.
