Very knowledgeable concerning the requirements for Medicaid. With his help I was able to qualify my wife with dementia for Long Term Care in a very good assistant living facility. He also provided excellent financial advise for my current and future assets. He is very easy to talk to and understand.

When my mother faced going into a nursing home, we thought that she was going to have to spend all of her life savings. Mr. Losavio was able to save her life savings and protect her home, getting her qualified for Medicaid quickly. This happened within a month of her entering the nursing home.
I would highly recommended him for any work needed when time is of the essence.

Mr. Losavio was very helpful in doing estate planning for my mother after my father passed away. He was recommended by a financial advisor as one of the top eldercare attorneys in Louisiana. He was able to help us with every legal detail and guided us through the process so that were able to make the right financial and legal decisions for our mother. We feel confident now that we have made all the right decisions and taken all necessary steps to keep her secure and preserve the estate as much as possible while following the letter of the law.

My father's will had established a Special Needs Trust for my sister appointing me as Trustee. Pete answered all of my questions promptly, completely, ad clearly.

Relocating after Hurricane Katrina and knowing no one in the Baton Rouge area Pete and staff have been a blessing to my family. Having been rejected by Medicare we were looking for legal counsel.
Pete took on the Dept of Health & Hospitals when the Dept of Health & Hospitals were not following their own guidelines. He came highly recommended by my aunt's nursing home and later for my mother's estate. After 2 court battles and wins I am proud to say that I would with utmost respect, recommend Pete Losavio.

Like many, I was unprepared when my mother fell and injured herself, which sent her to live in a nursing home. The fall left her mentally incapable to care for her finances, and I was drowning in a sea of uncertainty. In one short, free consultation with Mr. Losavio, I learned how to protect my mother's house and savings from the ravenous jaws of the Federal Government. In just a couple of weeks, all the paperwork was complete, and I had peace of mind. Mr. Losavio even took time from his Christmas Holiday to meet my mother and I at the nursing home for the final signatures. Finding a lawyer with this great of knowledge and compassion was truly a godsend. I recommend that you don't wait as I did for tragedy to force you into a situation that you are not prepared for. If you have to ask yourself if you need to plan ahead, then you do, make an appointment now.
