Thomas M Richard

Tom Richard was a founding member of our firm. Tom completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in 1979. He graduated from Loyola Law School in 1983, where he was a member of the Law Review. Tom was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 1983 and was admitted to practice before all Louisiana federal courts in 1984. He was admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 1993, and to the Texas Bar in 2011. He has litigated and tried cases in state and federal district courts throughout Louisiana. He has also handled and argued cases in multiple Louisiana appellate courts, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the Louisiana Supreme Court. Tom has extensive experience in all facets of insurance defense litigation, including property and casualty, first party and extra-contractual liability, admiralty and maritime, construction defect, professional liability and coverage disputes.
