About me

As founder of the Law Office of John W. Redmann, LLC, Mr. Redmann is committed to representing clients in Gretna, Metairie, New Orleans, throughout the Westbank area and across the state of Louisiana. He focuses his practice on personal injury cases that involve the following matters: medical malpractice, legal malpractice, serious injuries, product liability, auto accidents, insurance claims, class action suits and mass torts.

Mr. Redmann earned his law degree from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 1989.

The son of Judge William V. Redmann of Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal, Mr. Redmann has a family history of pursuing justice. With more than 25 years of experience, he approaches every case as though it will go to trial. Mr. Redmann understands the challenges facing those recovering from an injury and tenaciously works toward securing compensation for clients who have suffered as a result of someone else's negligence. He is known for his compassion and personal attention, giving clients the ability to focus on healing while he advocates on their behalf.

Fluent in Spanish and French, Mr. Redmann can work with people from all walks of life. For his successes, he has earned the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell; he has received the Client Distinction Award from Martindale-Hubbell; and he has been named in Who's Who in American Law 2015-2016.

Sharing his legal experience with others, Mr. Redmann hosts an interactive television show on WLAE-TV in New Orleans called John Redmann: Power of Attorney that discusses legal topics and takes viewer questions. He holds memberships with the Louisiana Bar Foundation, the Louisiana State Bar Association's Bench and Bar Section, the American Association for Justice, the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
