Lindsay R. Belmont

Lindsay is a dedicated family law attorney with over a decade of experience advocating for clients in a wide range of family-related legal matters. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult family transitions while protecting their legal rights and promoting positive resolutions.

Lindsay attended the University of Kansas where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in political science. After graduating from KU, Lindsay attended the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she completed a concentration in family law. Lindsay graduated from the College of Law with distinction.

Throughout her career, Lindsay has experienced great success in and out of the courtroom, from settling high net worth divorces to litigating contested child custody matters. She has also argued before both the Nebraska Court of Appeals and Nebraska Supreme Court.

Lindsay combines her legal expertise with a deep understanding of the emotional complexities that often accompany family law cases. She is committed to providing personalized and strategic counsel, empowering her clients to make informed decisions when what matters most is at stake.

In addition to her legal practice, Lindsay is a respected member of the Nebraska legal community, serving as a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association’s House of Delegates and as chair of the Family Law Section of the state bar. She has written articles for The Nebraska Lawyer and has presented on family law topics at the local and national level.
