Scott A. Shoemaker is a third-generation Cedar Rapidian having graduated from Washington High School and Coe College. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers in recognition of his excellent student achievement in courtroom advocacy. He also holds a graduate degree from the University of Iowa.
Scott and his wife Amy have two children. He is member of Mt. Hermon Lodge, No. 263 A.F. & A.M.; an Elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church; and serves on the Board of Directors of Family Promise of Linn County. He enjoys classical music, singing, and watching college football.
