After a positive experience with Koenig|Dunne in 2019-20 pertaining to a custody case, I reached out to the firm again on a visitation matter in 2022, and was assigned Attorney Belmont after finding out the attorney who handled my custody case was no longer with the firm. I was assured by firm leade...rship that Attorney Belmont was an expert on the specific field of law at hand in my case. She reviewed my case and basically said there’s no way we could lose. Throughout the entire process, I had issues with a lack of communication from Attorney Belmont and her staff, and would frequently go extended periods without any update whatsoever, even after making it known that I would appreciate frequent updates throughout the process. Additionally, as the case progressed it became clear that Attorney Belmont did not agree with my position and began to sympathize with the other party. In the end, Attorney Belmont strongly advised settlement of my case rather than going to trial despite my strong objections, as I considered settlement of this case, especially the settlement that was proposed, the equivalent of a harsh loss. On the eve of the trial, knowing that Attorney Belmont herself had begun to sympathize with the opposing party and would not put forth much effort into said trial, I agreed to settlement. So over the course of 10 months and roughly $20,000 paid to the firm, I went from being told we couldn’t lose to being advised to accept a loss. And now a year later, I’m in need of representation again because the other party has repeatedly violated the terms of the settlement, as I had predicted and voiced to Attorney Belmont during my case. Needless to say, I will not be retaining Attorney Belmont or anyone from Koenig|Dunne again.

Lindsay was my divorce attorney for a particularly nasty case. My ex-husband was becoming abusive when I left. Lindsay isn't necessarily available to you for calls or emails all the time, but she... communicates more frequently through her paralegals and clerk. They are the best team. Often, my questions were easily answered by Wendi, the paralegal. When she couldn't help me, she went to Lindsay to get the answer for me. They are very timely. I felt very confident with her. Ultimately, my ex and I were able to settle out of court and I got most of what I wanted. Highly recommend her or anyone at her firm.

I was exceptionally pleased with Ms. Belmont's service in my matter, and would highly recommend her services. Ms. Belmont was not only compassionate and supportive throughout the process, she was also an exceptional advocate.
