About Kristin
Biography
I was born and raised in Omaha, NE which gives me a special appreciation and love for the city.
I attended Creighton University School of Law where I earned my law degree in 2009. Having a passion for social work and helping others, I completed my graduate degree at Creighton University, earning my Master of Science in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution in 2011. I believe this improved my skills to help clients works towards resolution without the sometimes scary and unpredictable nature of the court room.
My past experience was as an Associate Attorney with Hightower Law from July 2011 until January 2012, and I was also an Associate Attorney at Hightower Reff Law from January 2012 until October 2013. In October 2013, I made the decision to open my own firm and Contryman Law and Mediation, LLC was born. I have been a solo practioner since that time, and I have enjoyed the flexibility and ability to take on the type of cases I am truly passionate about.
I am a certified mediator through the Office of Dispute Resolution. I have gained valuable experience in family law issues and mediation. This experience has allowed me to effectively represent my clients and assist them through the legal process toward a successful resolution.
In my downtime, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and any and all outdoor activities.
