Helping to protect the family after the tragic loss of a family member is one of the most important responsibilities that can be entrusted to me. The losses involved are many. Clearly there are significant financial losses to consider and present, but the loss of the person to the family itself is monumental. The loss of the care, affection, guidance and companionship that the family members have lost caused by the death of the family member must be compensated for as well.
