Excellent Experience working with Rick.

Rick was very helpful to me with my brain injury after a car accident. Being new to the litigation process, I was unsure of what to expect and a little anxious. Rick patiently listened to my concerns and clearly explained the process. He clearly set expectations, so when my case took a few years t...o settle, I was not surprised with the timeline. Rick and his staff were always patient with me, as I had short term memory loss and had to cover the same things repeatedly. Rick always worked in my best interest and explained his thought process along the way. I'm very happy with the outcome of my case. I highly recommend Rick and his staff.

Trustworthy and Caring

Following a car accident where I sustained an injury, when I was not able to reach a fair outcome with the other driver's insurance company, I reached out for help. An old friend recommended that I contact Rick and I am so glad she did. I felt at ease with Rick from our very first phone call. He neve...r pressured me, he always made sure I understood what was happening, and he wanted me to be actively involved in every aspect of the case. Rick helped all the scary stuff get just a little less scary with his approachable attitude, his sense of humor, and how obviously he cared about me and the outcome of my case. I will always be grateful for the work he did on my behalf. I definitely will recommend Rick to anyone and while I hope I never have the need to utilize his services again, I would do so in a heart beat.

Excellent & Personable

I spent many years working closely with Rick on our case. He was respectful and always made me feel like he was diligently working to pursue my best interests. I've worked with a lot of attorneys in my line of work, but Rick was different. I say that because Rick ALWAYS took my calls when he was in t...he office. I even was able to speak to Rick when he was on vacation (which knowing him as well as I do now, I advise him to quit taking client calls while on vacation unless it's URGENT...which it was not). Rick makes sure to look at the case from all sides & listened closely to my input, which I felt was important, as I'm the one who noticed that there was a issue with the contract in the first place. Rick is kind and honest. Rick is a great trial attorney. He doesn't just jump into things, he bounces ideas of his lawyer friends/coworkers/colleagues before making a move, which means he isn't cocky. A good trait for a lawyer. I wish the case wouldn't have taken so long to settle, but that's how these things go. He was a great choice & I'd choose him a million more times.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
