My fiance and I hired Mr Powell to represent my fiance in a refusal to blow. We had paid Mr Powell so my fiance could keep his license which was taken to court and case was dropped. The state picked up the charge which we paid another large sum of money. My fiance ended up getting COVID pneumonia an...d passed away. The case never went to court nor any services were done on this. However, when I reached out to Mr Powell I asked him if there would be a refund minus whatever is owed. He said there was no refund on services not rendered. I know some circumstances that may be true. But, I feel this is just wrong to do in case of death. I hope this money from a dead man's pocket served him well.

The sheer volume of cases and individual tasks to keep them moving is stultifying. I couldn't do it. Many Lawyers I know couldn't do it. I was arrested for a dubious DUI. He's a truly good man and he does amazing work.

I retained Mr. Powell to represent me on a driving while intoxicated case involving the drug Ambien. He was prompt with returning my calls to keep me informed on the status of my case and the plan of action to get it resolved which included the possibility of taking the case to trial if necessary. ...Ultimately Mr. Powell was able to get the case dismissed and charged a very reasonable rate for his services. I couldn't have asked for better representation and highly recommend Mr. Powell if you need professional legal representation.

Hired Russell for a DUI, he's hard to get ahold of and mostly talked to another lawyer that works at his firm. Court date comes and he's not there but a younger, less experienced lawyer is there. He scratched out Russell's name and put his on there. I got 30 days and a felony. It all seemed very phon...ed in by Russell and I felt he could've put more effort into the whole thing.
