Lindsee Acton Scherich

I decided to ignore the reviews about Lindsee because she was so personable during the initial consultation. Unfortunately, my experience has mirrored so many others. She claimed to understand domestic violence and narcissistic abuse but failed to advocate for me when I needed it the most. Besides... being unreachable the majority of the time, Lindsee also failed to adequately prepare for trial and practically forced a settlement. She told me I wasn't in a good position and would lose. I do believe that is true but due mostly to her lack of communication and preparation. When pressed on the issue, she threatened to withdraw. We were 3 days before trial. I agreed to the settlement and she stayed on my case until confronted with another issue. Now, she has submitted her withdrawal.

I hired this lawyer because she promised me the best outcome of my case but sadly that was only her trying to get me to hire her. She has no experience, no preparation to go to court, she always forgets what I constantly wanted her to fight for, she lost several of my documents, and I could go on... ...My case got really complicated due to her luck of knowledge and the other party’s attorney was attacking hard so what happened is that she had no other option but to try to get me to accept everything that the other party was asking for and get it over with, she told me I was going to lose my case either way if there was a trial, I was devastated and broke but I never agreed to anything of what they were asking for so after 1 year and a half of paying her and paying her money for doing pretty much nothing good for my process she withdrew the case with the excuse she had a baby. I do NOT recommend this lawyer at all.

Lindsee actively listened to my situation with genuine interest. She helped me with the divorce paperwork for a very reasonable fee, and stuck with me as I navigated an uncooperative spouse for 18 months. My court date was just a few days after the holidays. I was elated and thankful that Lindsee was attentive to my last-minute questions and responded promptly. Were it not for her advice and compassion, I could not have navigated this process on my own. I cannot recommend her enough. Her professionalism and sense of humor have saved me through this divorce and eased my mind as I move forward.
