Biography
After spending nearly 15 years in military and federal law enforcement assignments, Mike and his family came home to the KC area to help manage his family’s commercial roofing company through an ownership transition. He is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees. Mike established his own practice in 2015 making service to building contractors his firm’s primary focus. When he is not in the courtroom or meeting with clients, he continues to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve and closer to home, volunteers with his church and in the community.

Great working with Mike
I greatly appreciate the effort that Mike put into a collection issue that he solved for me. It took a long time due to the person being extremely difficult to deal with, but Mike persevered and got me to a good conclusion. I highly recommend Mike.

Debt collection
Just finished my 4th year in business. Was our best year, but also had our biggest unpaid invoice. We put a lot of time & work into this particular job. We couldn't let this one go unpaid. After handing it over to Schilling Law, we got the check a few weeks later.

Down-to-Earth. Gets Results
Mike has taken several bad debts and managed to get collections for all but one case. His fees are more than reasonable, he takes time to explain what the process is and is thorough. We plan to use him for any future needs.
