I hired this guy with hopes to help me with a protection order. He stated that if I "enhanced" my version of events then my petition would go smoothly. He spoke like a religious scholar and I felt comfortable that he was a follower of christ but something about "enhancing" my version of events didn't... sit right with me. I should have listened to my gut cause it's been several months now and I feel like a horrible person because I lied about things because of his encouragement. I just feel bad about everything. He's such a cold and disconnected person and I wish I never hired this guy.

I called back a few times the days following that. It has been a few weeks with no response, explanation, or return call from him.
