Look no further and hire Amy

Amy is top notch when it comes to divorces and child custody cases. She did a fantastic job for me and my family!

Amy is highly recommended

Amy Salladay has been a fantastic attorney to work with. In a maintenance modification case, Amy is not only highly knowledgeable, but she demonstrated great creativity in her approach to my case. All of my questions were always answered with great clarity. She kept me informed every step of the w...ay, which gave me great peace of mind. Amy’s courtroom demeanor and presence are top-notch and speak volumes in a trial setting. She thoroughly reviewed all of the evidence in my case. She prepared an exceptional strategy that ultimately tipped the scale in my favor for the final court judgment, which exceeded my expectations of no longer paying spousal maintenance. I highly recommend Amy Salladay and her team at Columbia Family Law Group. Thank you so much for everything you have done - Jason and Carrie

Buyer Beware!

Ms. Salladay could not handle our complicated case with lots of evidence; she did not appear up to the job required to devote her keen attention to the details of this case. She did not know her limitations and likely should have made a referral elsewhere to an attorney with more criminal legal backg...round. After Ms. Salladay began discussions with the opposing attorney she appeared to side with the opponent which was puzzling and concerning. There can be no good faith recommendation for Ms. Salladay’s legal services to anyone except the person who wants to pay lots to lose their case. Little to no advocacy for client. Showed no zealous fight in the courtroom and was an impediment for client; Ms. Salladay failed to do her job of protecting and defending her client from lies, distractions, deception, avoidance of addressing criminal behavior, and victim blaming by the opposing party. Outcome of the case appeared to be determined based on the skills of the attorney. Ms. Salladay refused to use witnesses via zoom and failed to use any evidence to make an argument to win the case, which was shocking behavior from a professional; her stated reason for not offering compelling evidence on zoom was to avoid confusing the judge, yet the opposing attorney utilized these strategies and the judge did not appear to be confused. Prior to the court appearance, Ms. Salladay failed to enthusiastically work for client, instead spent lots of time (and money) encouraging client to agree to settlements that benefited opposing party. Wanted to mediate to end the case when it was not in the client’s best interest to negotiate with her safety or with a predator. Offered no safety net for client by fulfilling her ethical duty to advocate ruthlessly for client. Poor preparation for court. In the courtroom lacked litigation skills or the will to employ them. Displayed poor email communication skills, which resulted in an adversarial relationship that was detrimental to the client. No explanation why case was lost and no acknowledgement she failed client. Don’t waste your money or time on Ms. Salladay. You are likely to be very disappointed, discouraged, and distrustful of the process and justice being served, as well as any confidence in Ms. Salladay as an attorney. Keep looking for another attorney; buyer beware!

Outstanding Family Attorney

Amy did a wonderful job negotiating a very difficult case with my ex. My ex has more money than you can shake a stick at, but that did not intimidate Amy at all. She was tough, no nonsense and achieved a fair and favorable outcome for my family. I have called on her to handle other family matters as ...well. She is my family attorney and I highly recommend that you look to do the same!
