Biography
I am a consumer protection lawyer. Primarily, Ihandle cases involving abusive debt collectors, predatory lenders and Credit Reporting Agencies, but I also handle cases dealing with Shady car lots as well.
Some of the more unscrupulous businesses prey upon those who can least afford it. Consumer protection laws often require the offenders to pay for the victim’s attorney fees allowing us to handle our clients cases, effectively, for free. So typically, not only can we make the situation better, (get the car back or fixed or get the contract rescinded, get the debt collector to stop threatening them at odd hours…etc.) we can get the person compensated for the violation of their rights. And we never ask them for any money to do that.
