Kimberly Benjamin is the owner and founder of the Missouri DWI & Criminal Law Center and the Missouri Accident & Injury Law Center at the Benjamin Law Firm, LLC in Kansas City and Belton, MO.
Kim has put together a team of lawyers who fight for their clients' rights, freedom, and livelihood. They work diligently to get the best results and are known to be aggressive warriors for their clients. Over 40 years combined legal experience, over 100 jury trials and over 300 bench trials among her team.
Kim is a trial lawyer who also helps clients who have experienced sexual harassment or unlawful discrimination at work. She is a fighter who wins 7 figure verdicts!
Kim is on the faculty of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, where she teaches lawyers all across the US how to conduct trial in crimnal and civil cases. She is also on the faculty of the National College of DUI Defense, where she teaches DWI/DUI defense attorneys all across the US. In addition, Kim is a frequent lecturer at seminars for The Missouri Bar, Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, local DWI Defense organizations, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Missouri State Public Defender System.
Kim is the chair for the annual DWI seminar sponsored by the Missouri Bar and Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. This seminar is attended by lawyers from all over the state who care to learn about how to defend and win a DWI. Kim is on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (MACDL) and served as the President in 2012-2013. She is also a member of the Missouri Society for Criminal Justice (DWI Defense organization), Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) and the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA).
Kim attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and then law school in Washington, DC, at the George Washington University National Law Center. After working at the Pentagon for the US Department of Defense and the Federal Communications Commission, she returned to Missouri and worked for the Missouri State Public Defender System where she was promoted to manage an office as the District Defender. After 6 years as a public defender, Kim returned to her hometown of Harrisonville, Missouri and opened her own law practice. In 2011, the law firm was relocated to Belton, Missouri, where the firm is growing and currently focuses on civil and criminal law.
In 2016 the Governor of Missouri appointed Kim to be on the Missouri Ethics Commission and it is her honor to serve her community in this appointment. Kim also volunteers her time to assist teenagers in the Cass County Youth Court program, where high school students act as lawyers and judges to handle minor juvenile law violations in the community.

So I hired this firm a year and 1/2 ago- lots of staff turn over, lots and lots of balls dropped. These folks were a nightmare. I hired a new attorney. They decided the fee I paid them should go to administrative costs. Just, do not.
