Brent Alan Lance

I am a lifetime resident of St. Charles County.  Prior to earning my law degree, I worked on the assembly line at General Motors while also obtaining my undergraduate degree. I received my law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law.  I am happily married to Julie Lance and I have 5 wonderful children.

Early in my legal career I worked for a firm with 6 partners who practiced in multiple areas of law. This provided me with signifciant experience in the areas of personal injury/tort law, workers' compensation law, estate planning as well as criminal and traffic law. Over the last 24 years, I have represented thousands of persons injured and also the families of those suffering a wrongful death at the hands of another. I have also assisted thousands of clients with establishing an estate plan so that their affiars are in order. Our firm is known for its hands on approach to representing its clients. I am always personally available for my clients and when they hire our firm, they know I will be personally working on their cases. Our policy is to return client phone calls within 24 hours. I have found in my years of practicing law that many attorneys lack empathy for what their clients are going through concerning the situation they are facing which requires the assistance of an attorney. I believe the cornerstone of any good attorney is having empathy for their clients and my goal is to take the approach of putting myself in their shoes as I represent them; to stay cognizant that this particular legal situation they are dealing with is likely very stressful to them and one of if not the most important thing going on in their lives at that time.
