We hired her to handle an adoption of my great niece and gave her the fees up front. Then we couldn't get her to reply for a long period of time on what was needed. We were given the excuse that her mom was sick & then she was sick and that's why we went so long without a word from her, which I find ...highly unprofessional. If you have to be out of the office you should communicate that with your clients. It was delay after delay and excuses on why things weren't done. We were told that she was going to the court one day to get something signed and when we asked about it 2 weeks later she still hadn't gotten the paperwork signed. We finally had to do the last step ourselves by contacting the GA office to get a corrected birth certificate. They said they had sent her the certificates and she claims that they hadn't. We fixed it with one call and received the certificate in a week of the call to the GA office. We are in the process of filing a complaint against her. So we would NOT recommend her as a lawyer. She is nice in person but just doesn't do what she says she will do and doesn't get back to you in a timely manner and there is always an excuse.
