Robert O. Appleton

I used attorney Appleton some 20 years ago for my divorce. I found him to be dishonest and untruthful. He explained that this was his final bill and would not charge for the time he need to finish things up. Needless to say he not only charged me for the time he promised not to but then filed suit ag...ainst me when I objected to paying. He also did not protect me interest in the sale of the family home. He said that it would never sell for more than X and that I was crazy to expect more. So I had to settle for half what he and the other atty valued it at. The house sold for X + + much more that I had even valued it at. I was later told by a different atty that the common thing to do would to have the house appraised or have an agreement that when the house sold The difference would be divided. A year later I a met a woman had used Robert Appleton as her divorce attorney and she too felt that he did very little to protect her interest once she was low on funds.
