I would like to take this opportunity to Kris very much for obtaining highly favorable results in my above case. I was sued by Midland Funding for an old credit card debt. I cannot recommend Boevingloh & Pliakos enough. Kris and George took on several cases for me when old accounts were purchased by junk debt buyers. Over the course of the cases, they remained in contact, letting me know how things were proceeding. They also facilitated negotiations on several sett...lement offers, that were unfortunately (for the JDB) rejected. It took about 9 months for the cases to go to trial, but when they did, that's when these guys really put the JDBs in their place. There was never a question of whether or not the debt was valid, and we never disputed that. What was disputed, was whether or not the JDBs had the right to collect on them. We didn't think so, and neither did the judge. If you've been sued by debt collectors or junk debt buyers, Boevingloh & Pliakos is who you call for help. After a frustrating and alarming morning of debt collection phone calls, I contacted this attorney's office for a consultation. Kris was an immense help and immediately jumped in to action to find out what information he could about my situation. He was extremely helpful and informative, and explaine...d things without making me feel dumb. Even though he determined my situation is likely a scam and I may not need an attorney for this particular situation, I will gladly come to him for representation should I ever need it.

I was sued by a debt collection agency, and the only way I found out that I had been served a court notice to appear was by the letters I received from several law offices that referenced the court number and appearance date. (I never received from the plaintiff the notice to appear by mail, posting ...on a door, or any other way.)
