During any kind of family court situation, our families are facing new challenges and a lot of uncertainty. Cynthia treated me with complete respect during the entire process. I never felt like she dismissed any of my concerns or felt that any of my (frequent) questions were insignificant. During a very chaotic time in my life, I felt like Cynthia respected me and empathized with my individual situation. I have referred many friends and family to Cynthia and will continue to do so.

I have been a client of Cynthia's for 10 plus years. She is experienced and knowledgeable and has always answered my questions in a timely manner. As is typical, my ex is difficult to deal with and Cynthia has worked diligently to manage him/his attorney in a way that is respectful and productive. She always shares her opinion and gives a general idea of the costs involved with a particular strategy. She listens to what I have to say and has always respected my decisions, even if they differed from her advice. Having a good relationship with your divorce attorney is extremely important, and I am grateful for the relationship that I have with Cynthia.

Facts: Divorce can often be expensive. Ex’s are often impossible. Divorce Lawyers can often be expensive. Opposing Lawyers are often impossible. Cynthia Albin is a great lawyer.
Cynthia was my attorney the third time I went back to court. My previous lawyers were going to be too expensive and didn’t have the same priorities as I did. They actually referred me to Cynthia, for which I’m forever grateful.
Right from the beginning, Cynthia used her experience and insight to get the facts to the judge and opposing counsel while keeping my priorities in mind – getting the best outcome for me and my children at the lowest cost. Cynthia was mindful of the pitfalls that some lawyers allow clients to fall into that end up using enormous amounts of time and money. She didn’t play that game. Throughout the process, two things stood out. Cynthia was always looking out for me and my kids, and was always conscious of my current and long term costs.
The end result? We actually reduced my long-term financial commitment because Cynthia did a great job presenting the facts. Yes, I still had legal fees but they were significantly less than if I had gone elsewhere. And my lawyer actually cared about me and the effects of the outcome on me and my kids.
Bottom Line – Cynthia will listen to you and make your priorities hers. And who knows, you just may end up with a new friend like I did.
