During any kind of family court situation, our families are facing new challenges and a lot of uncertainty. Cynthia treated me with complete respect during the entire process. I never felt like she dismissed any of my concerns or felt that any of my (frequent) questions were insignificant. During ...a very chaotic time in my life, I felt like Cynthia respected me and empathized with my individual situation. I have referred many friends and family to Cynthia and will continue to do so.

If you use Cynthia do not expect a call or any communications back for weeks. She also doesn't provide a detailed bill for her clients. I would not recommend her to anyone as she failed our family and made decisions solely based on emails. We spoke to her once. She also can meditate between paren...ts and would NOT recommend her as a parent coordinator or lawyer. USE SOMEONE ELSE!

Many of these reviews appear to be parents, but i am writing from a child's point of view. Cynthia is apart of the "Kids For Cash" scheme sprouting all throughout St. Louis family court. This scheme can be vaguely described as GALs across the St. Louis areas, are placing children in toxic homes, in o...rder to prolong the court case, to get more money. There is so much more to that, though I started researching this when i had my own experience with Mrs. Albin. I was put into an extremely toxic environment and had to endure extreme amounts of mental and physical abuse. As much as I would try and voice my opinions to her, my words would get twisted to make me appear as if i was insane. Later, I found out that Cynthia was being paid under the table by my abusive father, which is very illegal, to sway the case. Cynthia has forever put damage in my life, so that she could pad her pockets. I often wonder how a mother could do this to another child. Do not consider Cynthia if you want your kids to be placed in a loving, safe environment.

One star rating is too high. If you are a Father or a lawyer who represents a Father, stay away from this Ad Litem. No matter what my children’s Mother did, Ms. Albin ruled for her for over 2 years on the mothers behalf while I did absolutely nothing that would cause her to rule against me. I’m the ...one who requested an Ad Litem. At one point I was told that if I ring the doorbell when I pick my children up at thier mother’s residence, this action would improve my chances of having the Mother follow court orders and turn the children over to me on my appointed time. Shockingly, that solution didn’t improve me getting my children. On the other hand, if you are a Mother, I would give her a 5 star plus rating.
