Anne-Marie Brockland

Anne Brockland is a trial attorney with emphasis on medical negligence, wrongful death and product liability cases.  She has significant experience with birth trauma and failure to diagnose cases.  Other matters have included personal injury claims for automobile negligence and premise liability.  Ms. Brockland represents individuals who have been injured or who have lost a loved one, including those with multi-million dollar claims against health care providers and corporations.  

Ms. Brockland has litigated cases throughout Missouri and Illinois.  She has experience with representing individuals with complex product liability cases in Multidistrict Litigation (MDL) in various United States District Courts across the country.   Ms. Brockland has briefed cases for appeal, including for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Ms. Brockland was nominated to the Theodore McMillian American Inn of Court in 2012.  She was named as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Missouri and as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers in Missouri by the National Trial Lawyers.  She has also been named an Up & Coming Lawyer by Missouri Lawyers Weekly and a Rising Star by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers.  Ms. Brockland was nominated by her peers to serve on the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers’ Section Council for the City of St. Louis and served a two-year term.

Ms. Brockland received her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she served on the Editorial Board for the Public Law Review.  During law school, she was selected to be a Faculty Fellow to both Professor David Sloss and Professor Steven Thaman.  Ms. Brockland received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was given the honorary title of College Scholar.

Ms. Brockland enjoys giving speeches and presentations on different aspects of litigation.  She is a member of numerous national and local organizations, including the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis.  Her publications include:
