I have been practicing law since 1993 and I have been focused on immigration law since 2001. I have experience working for the US Air Force as a Judge Advocate and I have worked as an executive for a startup software company and as a civil service attorney with the US Department of Defense. I have founded several businesses besides my law firm--my favorite was a specialty coffee shop where I learned to roast coffee and became a certified barrista.
In my private life, I sing bass with several semi-professional groups and I serve as a board member, officer and leader of several local non-profit organizations. I am a competitive bodybuilder as well. I am a volunteer high school mock trial coach and judge. When I get some free time from these activities I like to watch movies and read interesting books.

"I worked with David Cox for years during our service as attorneys in the Air Force. My opinion of David, and his reputation in our profession, was of a very detail oriented, zealous advocate. If there was a novel legal issue to be pursued, he was the one to reach out to. He was well known for his legal research and motion practice. I would endorse him without reservation."
