Biography
ALEX B. RABIN was born and raised in the Springfield, Illinois area. He graduated from Glenwood High School and went on to earn his B.S. degree from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 1998, and earned his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2004. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors at the Shriners Hospital for Children in St. Louis, Missouri.
Alex Rabin is a partner at Sgro, Hanrahan, Durr, Rabin & Bruce, LLP, in Springfield, Illinois. Mr. Rabin concentrates his practice in personal injuries, workers' compensation, municipal law, real estate, business and civil practice. In addition to helping injured clients, Mr. Rabin represents several municipalities and businesses throughout Central Illinois. He frequently appears before the state circuit courts, Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, and regulatory authorities.
Alex Rabin clerked for an Indiana State Court Judge during law school, and was also a Federal Extern for the Federal Court in Hammond, Indiana. He broke the record for personal injury and workers compensation settlements while an associate with his first law firm.
Mr. Rabin's areas of practice are civil litigation, municipal law, personal injury and workers' compensation.
