I hired Mr Sherer in 2014 to assist me with completing a very messy divorce. Long story short, I started this divorce in 2009, after a 28 year marriage and several houses and numerous other assets, and a very vindictive spouse, with an attorney who got the divorce its self done in late 2011, but didn't complete any of the division of property or other matters. And then, for reasons unrelated to my case, had his law license suspended. So I hired a new attorney, who was able to get a court ruling on the remaining issues, but then moved out of state for personal reasons before getting any of it completed. By this point, I am extremely frustrated and about to just give up. But, luckily I didn't, and hired Mr Sherer. He took on this seemingly insurmountable task, and not only cleaned up the mess the other 2 attorneys had left me in, but did it with poise, grace and sheer determination. He carefully listened to all of my concerns, gave impeccable advice, and got the job done to my satisfaction and more. He represented me for 2 months in an easy child custody case. He went through my $6,000 retainer fee in less than 30 days. He said to not worry and we will work it out bc he hadn't been to court yet. Chris Sherer charged an additional almost $8,000 after the retainer fee. A judge ruled that Sherer did unreasonable billing for what work was done on my case.
