He told me on the phone what legal means would be required and the cost with which I agreed. When I talked with him again, he said he wanted to consult with an associate for a possible short cut. The next time I talked with him on a Monday, he said that if I didn't hear from him by Wednesday, to... call him. I called his office and cell phones emphasizing that we really needed his legal help and he never returned my calls. He effectively wasted approximately two weeks of valuable time in the pressing legal matter we discussed. I know myself and the other involved party were very anxious in getting things in process. If he was not able to help, he could be professional and courteous and come right out and say it. I would respect that; instead I have a very bad impression of him.

Took weeks sometimes to return phone calls, never answered many of the questions I had, delayed getting divorce finalized while I and my ex were amicable and ended up costing me thousands more than it should have. I asked many times for him to demand my ex prove things he was claiming on financial af...fidavits but he never asked for proof. I provided proof my ex was lying but nothing was done. I had proof my ex was working more than he reported but nothing was done. I had never had an atty before and was too naive to fire him as soon as I should have. I finally wised up and fired him but not until lots of damage financially and emotionally was done.
