Biography
I am a former criminal prosecutor who aggressively handles jury and bench trials in front of various judges. We are a full service criminal defense law firm - consisting of handling successful and rigorous defense of high-profile drug offenses, murder charges, violent crimes, sex crimes, white collar crimes; misdemeanor - including DUI and drug-related offenses.
I obtained a not guilty jury verdict in trial in Madison County, IL in a first-degree murder charge.
I also recently presented the target witness before a Granid Jury in a murder investigation, in which a finding of NO TRUE BILL was returned against him, resulting in no first-degree murder charges brought against my client.
I have successfully prepared and argued appeals before the Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Supreme Court.
I am licensed in Illinois and I serve the Metro-East, including Madison, St. Clair, Monroe, Clinton, Jersey, Macoupin, Greene, Effingham, Fayette, and Bond Counties.

GREAT LAWYER WITH A GREAT RESULT
Mr. Bas did a great job for me. I was charged with a crime I did not commit and the Alton Police had it out for me only because I got in trouble over 20 years ago, BUT I DIDNT DO ANYTHING SINCE!! Mr. Bas made the cop look a fool and the jury found me NOT GUILTY! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
