Estate Planning

Ms. Grammer completed our estate planning and family trusts in an expeditious manner. She answered all of our questions and made the experience easy as we had been to several other lawyers who couldn't give us the diredction we needed to complete a complicated and sensitive issue.

DO NOT HIRE

If I could give no stars, I would. We hired her as a family lawyer to get rights with my bonus son. We were doing it for 2 years alone before we hired her. The only thing she got us was extra summer time visits. No decision making, no nothing. She has double charged us for court dates, had us served ...due to her suing us while I was in labor with my 2nd daughter. She falls asleep on the phone, doesnt reply to emails or phone calls when its regarding her own mess ups. She blatantly lied to us about filing documents then sent us a bill for them anyway. This firm is a complete joke. She charged us $15,000. We have already paid $6k, and somehow our bill today was for $15,330. Please please run fast. Do not hire this firm, specifically susan.

Awful

Took over a year to get any paperwork done. I would wait for hours for a scheduled meeting, would call me at 10:30-11 pm to ask questions I already answered four times. Always yelling, would get mad if you didn’t no the answer to something. Told me my injury to my back, was basically irrelevant becau...se I didn’t have to get surgery, and don’t expect a lot of money, it’s not like you will travel the world. She and her husband were always fighting, yelling slamming doors. Would ignore any questions you basically have. And then charge you for every little thing! I got charged almost 100 dollars for her to print something, and then another 175 for her to go to a meeting. My case never went to court, because the company settled, and she is getting half, for only calling me to yell and ask questions she should already know the answer to. But on the plus side, her receptionist is wonderful!

She truly is as bad as they say.

Missed my kids baseball game to be at 7pm appointment. Finally got to me around midnight very condescending and hateful when could not remember facts of case after all our meeting went to close to 2am at a cost of 400.00. She drug out her questions to pad the tab. She told me when I went to court to ...tell the judge in a civil case she could not be there due to another case and assured me they would give me a continuance. Well next thing you know judge is swearing me in. The other guy had his lawyer, but not me judge advised we better work something out, so I took a deal I really didn't want cause my lawyer wasn't there. The deal was struck when Susan strolled in after her other case was over and insisted she would look the agreement over as to assure I wasn't getting the shaft. She took about 15 mins to look it over. Next week I received 500.00 bill 100.00 for looking it over 200.00 drive to court 200.00 for her drive home. That's one bill I never paid or never will.
