Walter Ding

I hired Walter on advise from another counsel Mr. Lance Cagle. Mr. Cagle informed me to get Walter if I could for my criminal cases as he works daily at Champaign county and knows all the people there as well as judges and formats they use. I Also read these reviews and got really worrited about my c...ase, it (the negative reviews here) caused me sleeplees nights and countless fruitless worry over my choice of attorney, Well we kept Walter regardless of those reviews and are happy we did so, he won my jury trial hands down, was well informed although I may have thought he was'nt, We are not LAWYERS, and HE IS!! big difference when the rubber hits the road!! I would highly recommend Walter Ding to ANYONE needing a Criminal defense attorney in Champaign County, I did not do what I was charged with and Walter ding succesfully represented me in a Jury Trial and I was Acquitted!!

We hired Walter Ding without any chance to review his ratings. His spent little, if any, time on our case. We met with him once before our trial. He was unfamiliar with the details of our case. It was clear he had not read through the details. We made some suggestions and asked some questions. ...He was totally unresponsive. He just wanted to be done with it. He even threatened to drop us on the way to the trial. It was just a horrible experience. I'd recommend you defend yourself rather than hire this person. I wonder if he even went to law school.

After paying hard-earned money for his services regarding a criminal case, namely 2 counts of criminal sex abuse, Mr Ding suggested, as my hired counsel, that I plea guilty, go to jail for a reduced sentence, and register as a sex offender for the rest of my life. With no refund at all, I hired a di...fferent attorney who fought my case tooth and nail... Guess who doesn't have to register as a sex offender EVER and returned a NOT GUILTY through jury trial??? Mr Ding was NO help at all!!
