NIW green card and AOS

I found out about Jim Arkell and the Dunn Law firm through a Google search, I’m glad I did. I first contacted his office on October 2021, after a brief phone interview, they informed me I had a good case and they encouraged me to apply for permanent residence. It took me a couple of months to prepar...e all the required documents. About a month after I submitted such documents, Mr. Arkell prepared a solid and compelling case. The NIW petition was filed on April 2022, and it was approved in August 2022. The AOS alongside with the EAD card and advanced parole petitions were filed on September 2022. I received my EAD card by December 2022 and the advance parole on January 2023. Finally, by March 2023 I already had my green card. Mr. Arkell and his team, particularly Kayla Clark, were extremely professional and helpful during the entire process. They always promptly replied to my emails with answers to my questions and concerns. I cannot recommend enough Mr. Arkell and the Dunn Law firm.

Grateful Immigrant

I consulted Jim and his team sometime in 2020 and after our conversations, they agreed to take my case for the EB2-NIW category. The attorneys offered great guidance and properly filed my case. They knew what had to happen and guided me through the entire process. It took some time, but I am a happy ...client. I will be back with future immigration needs. A special thanks to Kayla and Rachel for all they did to get my case approved. Please reach out to them for all your immigration needs.

Excellent Attorney, Wonderful Service, Great Firm

Dunn Law LLP is an excellent Law firm offering great services. The staff are awesome and establish a good relationship with clients to understand how best to represent you. Their response to emails and calls are top notch and professional. Always ready to speak with clients when you call. My repre...sentative attorney Jim Arkell helped to prepare my case and filed a strong case on my behalf. My petition was approved in 2 months afterward. The rest of the team are also great in handling cases. I recommend Dun Law LLP without any reservations.

I want to thank Mr. Arkell and his great team for all they did throughout my application for Green card (NIW I-140 and I-485). He and his team are very friendly, supportive, and responsive.

Green Card application through the National Interest Waiver program

I had been working in the US on a non-immigrant J-1 visa, doing scientific research at a major university. I was introduced to the National Interest Waiver (NIW) program through a talk given by Dunn Law at my institution. On my reaching out for information, I was offered a free evaluation of my pote...ntial case for a Green Card through the NIW. After forwarding some basic information about my research and publication record, I was advised the Dunn Law believed I had a strong case and would be happy to accept me as a client. Throughout this initial process communication was swift and clear, my options were always laid out for me and any questions I had were answered promptly and accurately. Once I retained Dunn Law, I was given detailed information about how to get the process of applying for a Green Card started. Throughout the initial stages of the application, it was very clear to me what information was needed from me. I also retained Dunn Law to help in the drafting and obtaining of the letters of recommendation that accompanied my Green Card application. Given the specific criteria that are looked for during the application evaluation in said letters, I could not have been more pleased with the work Dunn Law did on them. Throughout the application process I was always able to reach Dunn Law and get answers to any questions I had. This was particularly reassuring during longer periods of waiting for different stages of the application. I was also able to get advice and assistance on several changes of my visa and employment status during the period of my application, which greatly eased the burden of transferring between different positions and institutions while in the US on a non-immigrant visa. In summary: I could not be more pleased with the services I received from Dunn Law, both in leading up to my formally retaining them and during the process of my Green Card application. All staff I dealt with were, without fail, courteous, professional and very eager to help. I found their advice and assistance to be invaluable throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Dunn Law highly enough, especially for individuals interested in obtaining permanent residence in the USA through the National Interest Waiver program.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
