Green Card application through the National Interest Waiver program

I had been working in the US on a non-immigrant J-1 visa, doing scientific research at a major university. I was introduced to the National Interest Waiver (NIW) program through a talk given by Dunn Law at my institution. On my reaching out for information, I was offered a free evaluation of my pote...ntial case for a Green Card through the NIW. After forwarding some basic information about my research and publication record, I was advised the Dunn Law believed I had a strong case and would be happy to accept me as a client. Throughout this initial process communication was swift and clear, my options were always laid out for me and any questions I had were answered promptly and accurately. Once I retained Dunn Law, I was given detailed information about how to get the process of applying for a Green Card started. Throughout the initial stages of the application, it was very clear to me what information was needed from me. I also retained Dunn Law to help in the drafting and obtaining of the letters of recommendation that accompanied my Green Card application. Given the specific criteria that are looked for during the application evaluation in said letters, I could not have been more pleased with the work Dunn Law did on them. Throughout the application process I was always able to reach Dunn Law and get answers to any questions I had. This was particularly reassuring during longer periods of waiting for different stages of the application. I was also able to get advice and assistance on several changes of my visa and employment status during the period of my application, which greatly eased the burden of transferring between different positions and institutions while in the US on a non-immigrant visa. In summary: I could not be more pleased with the services I received from Dunn Law, both in leading up to my formally retaining them and during the process of my Green Card application. All staff I dealt with were, without fail, courteous, professional and very eager to help. I found their advice and assistance to be invaluable throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Dunn Law highly enough, especially for individuals interested in obtaining permanent residence in the USA through the National Interest Waiver program.

It was truly delightful to work with him and his office!

Jim Arkell and Kayla Clark were truly delightful to work with. They promptly answered all of my questions and as soon as they traced the best path forward they immediately started working on my case. My previous lawyer had been a nightmare to work with, so it was refreshing to work with professionals... that made me feel seen and heard for the first time since I started my green card application process 5 years ago. Their services are also very affordable, which was not my previous experience. I'm so deeply grateful to finally have my green card in my hands! I would 100% recommend them to anyone trying to sort out their immigration status in this country. You will be treated with dignity and respect and most definitely get your money's worth.

Letter of appreciation

I am happy to share that my EB2-NIW concurrently has approved very recently. Although it takes a long time more than 536 days but without any RFE successfully it's approved. By the grace of Almighty Allah, it's a great news for us. We are very much grateful and obliged to the USCIS officers and staff...s. However, before starting my EB2-NIW-AOS concurrently petition, I contacted with several immigration law firms over the phone and/or by email. I believe, all the law firms are very much professional, dedicated, cooperative, as well competitive with their services. After consulting with all the law firms, I felt comfortable to Mr. Jim Arkell, Attorney of Dunn Law Firm. Then I retained with Dunn Law Firm, and I feel happy to work with them. I would like to express a special gratitude and thanks to Mr. Jim Arkell, Kayla Clark, Rachel Claveria and the teams. We are really satisfied with your services and cooperation.

Jim and Kayla were very helpful in my application for the Permanent Resident. They helped me put together my I-140 application and even though I did my adjustment of Status processing myself, they were super helpful and professional throughout my engagement with them

Excellent lawyer to pursue an EB2 NIW green card!

I had an excellent experience applying for a green card based on an EB2 national interest waiver (NIW) thanks to Jim and the Dunn Law firm. Even though my field of experience/research was very specialized, Jim Arkell drafted an excellent NIW petition on my behalf, which eventually led to an approval!... The NIW/EB1A practice manager Kayla Clark managed the whole I-140 and I-485 application process with efficiency and utmost professionalism. My wife and I were able to complete the I-485 process with ease thanks to Kayla! I started this process while I was a graduate student, and the lawyer fees were very reasonable. Given my financial constraints at the beginning of the application process, I was especially glad for the ability to pay it all in installments. Everything that was required from me was made clear upfront so there was minimal confusion and it was very easy to get everything completed. Jim and Kayla were very responsive to my questions and requests for updates throughout this 2 year process. For example, while my I-140 was pending longer than expected, I was able to work with Jim/Kayla to apply for premium processing once it became available. Additionally, I was able to obtain a practice green card interview once our adjustment of status cases were scheduled for an interview at a USCIS field office. While applying for permanent residency can be a daunting process, I had a wonderful experience working with Jim, Kayla and the Dunn Law firm. They were very supportive, responsive and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend Jim (and the Dunn Law firm) for anyone interested in pursuing an employment based green card through the EB2 NIW or EB1A route!
