I had an excellent experience applying for a green card based on an EB2 national interest waiver (NIW) thanks to Jim and the Dunn Law firm. The NIW/EB1A practice manager Kayla Clark managed the whole I-140 and I-485 application process with efficiency and utmost professionalism. My wife and I were able to complete the I-485 process with ease thanks to Kayla! I started this process while I was a graduate student, and the lawyer fees were very reasonable. Given my financial constraints at the beginning of the application process, I was especially glad for the ability to pay it all in installments. Everything that was required from me was made clear upfront so there was minimal confusion and it was very easy to get everything completed. Jim and Kayla were very responsive to my questions and requests for updates throughout this 2 year process. For example, while my I-140 was pending longer than expected, I was able to work with Jim/Kayla to apply for premium processing once it became available. Out of the dozen or so attorneys I reached out to for my EB2 NIW consultation last year, Jim was the only one to speak with me for over half-hour over the phone. Looking back, this is probably the best decision I’ve made in my life given the stake I had in this process. Over the course of two months that followed, I worked extensively with Jim and Kayla (the practice manager) to prepare my petition and the evidence documents. Everyone moved very quickly and judiciously: the time left for filing was quickly running out because of the impending expiry of my F-1 OPT status (which is entirely on me and my late discovery of Dunn Law Firm).
