I turned to her firm to handle a routine legal issue. Ms Butler convinced me that her path was the way to go offering no options. I had my concerns with her approach. Once Ms Butler’s plan resulted in a less than desirable outcome, Ms Butler stopped responding to me. I’m now faced with even more long-term issues then when I first contacted Ms Butler. As I’ve been working through the new issues, I’ve also discovered there were options available to me regarding my original case. Ms Butler’s office also struggled to provide accurate legal advice while failing to educate me on the legal process and what I should expect. I was surprised and very alarmed after receiving mail from a third party related to my case. It took me a considerable amount of time to get a response from Ms Butler’s office, the eventual casual response was yep we know about that. Would it be too much trouble to have warned me? This lack of attention added stress to an already stressful situation. I felt ignored by Ms Bulter as most of my interaction was with her admin who struggled to provide answers to basic questions. At one point the admin began “phoning a friend” to provide me with legal advice. Not the level of service I expected. From inaccurate legal advice to Ms Butler’s admin struggling to attach a doc to an email so that a deadline could be met, my experience was the opposite of the expertise and client attention advertised by Ms Butler in person and online. I am of course responsible for these outcomes. I’m embarrassed for ignoring my gut, family and friends while placing so much trust in Ms Butler. Hopefully my story will help others avoid my experience. However, I’ve not been completely ignored. Months after Ms Butler’s office stopped responding to me, I received an additional invoice. You can imagine my reaction.

Susan met my expectations and more. She is a true blessing and will always have a place in my heart. She went above and beyond in every aspect of my case. She helped guide me and always having the best interest for my children and me . From the moment I first worked with her, she was informative an...d compassionate, her staff was helpful and kept me up to date as well. She is genuinely there to help you and is very knowledgeable in her field. I highly recommend her for her expertise as well as her caring personality.
