Michelle Mosby-Scott

Very little personal attention was given to my case, Michelle rarely showed up personally to court dates and little guidance was given. Cases are billed and documents are prepared in a fill-in-the-blank fashion. My case was not typical and I was billed and documents prepared as if they were a typical... case including items that did not pertain to my situation and documents that were not included in court filings. My favorite was the generic summary of my case received two months after the fact asking for a favorable review and billing me for the preparation of the document. Two stars because at the least the case was resolved.

Michelle is truly invested in advocating for children. As a parent herself, Michelle is able to see the bigger picture of how legal actions impact a family's daily lives. She is instantly able to understand how children are impacted at different ages/developmental stages. She is incredibly organized ...and her staff are also compassionate, responsive and organized. Responses from Michelle and her staff are prompt, considerate and thorough! While she is a tough litigator, she has already shown in my case that she is also able to work cooperatively with other professionals well, which is so important in any sort of divorce action. Some people believe they want a "shark" attorney, when attorneys that can work together in everyone's best interests are actually so much more beneficial financially and emotionally for families.

My experience with Michelle Mosby-Scott and Heather Johns, her paralegal, has been very positive. I used this firm for my divorce, afterwards for my will, and recently again to litigate college expenses. Michelle is a highly competent and knowledgeable lawyer who will fight to get you the best possib...le outcome. She is also personable and cares about her clients. I also enjoyed working with Heather, she is very professional and was always pleasant in communications. I would definitely use this firm again in the future if I needed their services.

Agree with the review from 2020. My case in 2018-19 was prolonged, passed around. She did nothing personally. Billed for everything but not even sure what was done and not even sure it was 100% accurate. Forget disputing it they threaten you right away if you try. Didn’t feel like there was a “team a...pproach” just busy work to be able to send a bill accomplishing nothing that was discussed. Let the other party get by with everything, didn’t attempt to help me in any way.
