Tami Meister represented me in a contentious divorce and child custody case that lasted over a year and a half. Attorney Meister w...as thoughtful, empathetic, and went above and beyond to make herself available for any questions or concerns I had. She cares for her clients and their cases but doesn’t allow emotion to negatively impact her ability to effectively advocate for them. I appreciated that she gave me realistic outcomes for each situation we found ourselves in, even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear at the time. I know that my case had a much more favorable outcome due to my choice in attorney and because I consistently deferred to Attorney Meister’s counsel and recommendations.

A divorce is a difficult situation for anyone to go through. From the beginning I appreciated Tami's direct approach. She listened to my biggest concerns about the divorce especially with regards to the custody dispute. As a father I was worried about my rights and the court respecting them. W...ith her advice and guidance I was able to secure the custody agreement I desired as well as to alleviate my fears of being sidelined as a parent. I found her counsel to always be well guided even when difficult to hear. She always responded quickly to my emails and phone calls. I appreciate her approach towards nuances of the process. I feel like there is a tendency in this field to go the lowest route and sling as much mud as possible at the opposing party. Her firm does not advocate that approach and in looking back I am pleased at their wisdom in that recommendation. Additionally, I would say Tami has a very impressive knowledge of the law and its nuances. The opposing party went through multiple legal teams during the process and they always held Tami in great regard and deferred to her to draft the agreements and explain the changes in the state law with regards to support formulas. I felt my counsel was always well-prepared and worked with me to craft a strategy with an optimal outcome. I highly recommend Tami to anyone going through this unpleasant part of life.
