Attorney Ray made me feel at ease from the first moment that I stepped into his office for my consultation. I knew that he was the attorney that I needed. At every step of my divorce, which was at times quite contentious, he was honest, and upfront about what was realistic and had no problem taking c...are of any issues that arose. He took his time to explain things to me when I was unsure, and at times when I thought I was at the end of my rope, was supportive and made me feel that he had my best interest and was in my corner. I would recommend Attorney Ray to anyone! Not only is he, in my opinion, an excellent attorney, but he treats you with compassion, not just a paying client. I hope I will never have a need for another attorney, but if I did, he is the one that I would be contacting, no hesitation.

Don is an amazing attorney. He bypasses being coy, and beating around the bush, so to speak, with a candid bluntness needed for courtroom situations, saving precious time. He exudes endless patience with me, and my misunderstandings of the family law legal process. (Sure there were some eyes rolling,... but in good humor) He will not talk over your head, nor fill it with fancifull promises that may not be able to be kept. He tells it like it is good, bad, or ugly, but he is on your side. He also posesses a sense of humor,easing the anxiety. My case has been quite .convoluted, yet he did not hold my hand, but lead the way. Although he is blunt, and fierce, he is also compassionate. A hero? Possibly. Just needs a cape.

DON GOT MY FAMILY SUPPORT IN ONE MONTH WHEN I WAS WAITING A YEAR BEFORE MEETING HIM. HE WENT AGAINST MY EXS LAWYER WHOM WAS MONEY HUNGRY, VERY MEAN, AND A LIAR!! I WON'T SAY HER NAME(CHERI GREENLEE)!! OOPS!!! SHE WILL TAKE EVERY PENNY YOU HAVE AND STILL NOT HAVE A CLUE IN WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT. THAT HE NEEDED TO HAVE OTHER REPRESENTATION. WHEN DON "PRANCED" INTO THE COURTROOM ALL HEADS TURNED! HE WAS DYNAMIC. I READ "THE OTHER GRANDMOTHER"'S LIPS AS SAYING, "OH,SH..". HE WALKS WITH PRIDE, CONFIDENCE. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY CLIENTS MAY FIND HIM SHORT, OR MAYBE CONDESCENDING. DON IS RIGHT TO THE POINT. HE OFFERED NO FALSE HOPES, DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN TO ANYTHING THAT COULDN'T BE USED IN THE COURTROOM. I, AT FIRST, THOUGHT HE SEEMED PRETTY RIGID. HE WAS, I GUESS. HOWEVER, AFTER HE MADE IT VERY CLEAR WHAT THE JUDGE WOULD AND WOULD NOT LISTEN TO, NOBODY WANTED TO LISTEN TO HEARSAY OR EMOTIONS, I FOUND THE KINDEST GUY (ESPECIALLY AS ATTYS. GO) ANYBODY COULD HOPE TO MEET. I, AS A GRANDMOTHER, HURT FOR MY GRANDSON, AND FOR OTHER REASONS. I STARTED CRYING BECAUSE THE WHOLE MATTER HURT SO MANY PEOPLE--THE BABY BOY, THE MOM, DAD, GRANDPARENTS. I JUST COULDN'T UNDERSTAND HOW LIFE EVOLVES WITH ALL THE BITTERNESS. AFTER DON LAID DOWN THE RULES!!!!, HE LOOKED AT ME WITH SUCH SAD EYES AND SAID, "YOU HAVE TO QUIT CARING SO MUCH". I HAD CALLED THE COURT HOUSE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE GAL IN THE CASE, TALKED TO A WORKER DOWN THERE. AFTER MY CONPLAINT REGARDING THE GAL'S FEES, I SAID MY SON'S ATTY SHOULD HAVE CHARGED MORE FOR HIS TIME. THE CLERK I TALKED TO ASKED THE NAME OF MY SON'S ATTY. I SAID "DON RAY". SHE SAID SHE HAS HEARD THAT SAME THING OF HIM A NUMBER OF TIMES. HOW MANY ATTYS DO THAT? MAYBE IF MORE OF THEM WERE EVEN FAIR, WE WOULDN'T HAVE SO MANY "ATTYS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA JOKES". DON PROBABLY MAY NOT BE THE BEST AT FOLLOWING UP, BUT IF HE IS DUE IN COURT HE IS THERE. WHENEVER WE HAVE NEEDED HIM, HE HAS GONE OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP US. I GUESS A CLIENT HAS TO DECIDE HIS OWN PERSONALITY; ASK THEMSELVES IF THEY WANT AN EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ATTY WHO WILL MAKE HIS APPEARANCE IN THE COURTROOM SCARE THE "OPPOSING TEAM", DEAL WITH DON'S CONFIDENCE IN HIMSELF, AND WIN THEIR CASE, THEY HAVE THEIR SAVIOUR. I had a child support issue and I took up Don's free consultation session after reading his reviews from other clients. Don's 15 minutes of consultation was the most valuable thing to me.
