Iv had Don as my attorney for almost 3 years. He has been nothing but professional and hard working on my case. He was always fast at responding to my emails (especially during COVID) and always on time to my court appearances. HAVING READ CLIENT REVIEWS OF DON'S, PRETTY MUCH IT IS AGREED HE IS THE ONE TO REPRESENT YOU, IF YOUR MATTER IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. MY SON WAS GOING THROUGH A COMPLILCATED CUSTODY CASE. I SHARED MY SOBS WITH A LONG-TIME FRIEND. SHE SAID "DON IS THE BEST--SHE HAD HEARD--IN FAMILY MATTERS". MY SON HA...D AN ATTY. AT THE TIME. HE WAS LOSING GROUND IN HIS CASE. HE NOTIFIED HIS ATTY. THAT HE NEEDED TO HAVE OTHER REPRESENTATION. WHEN DON "PRANCED" INTO THE COURTROOM ALL HEADS TURNED! HE WAS DYNAMIC. I READ "THE OTHER GRANDMOTHER"'S LIPS AS SAYING, "OH,SH..". HE WALKS WITH PRIDE, CONFIDENCE. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY CLIENTS MAY FIND HIM SHORT, OR MAYBE CONDESCENDING. DON IS RIGHT TO THE POINT. HE OFFERED NO FALSE HOPES, DIDN'T WANT TO LISTEN TO ANYTHING THAT COULDN'T BE USED IN THE COURTROOM. I, AT FIRST, THOUGHT HE SEEMED PRETTY RIGID. HE WAS, I GUESS. HOWEVER, AFTER HE MADE IT VERY CLEAR WHAT THE JUDGE WOULD AND WOULD NOT LISTEN TO, NOBODY WANTED TO LISTEN TO HEARSAY OR EMOTIONS, I FOUND THE KINDEST GUY (ESPECIALLY AS ATTYS. GO) ANYBODY COULD HOPE TO MEET. I, AS A GRANDMOTHER, HURT FOR MY GRANDSON, AND FOR OTHER REASONS. I STARTED CRYING BECAUSE THE WHOLE MATTER HURT SO MANY PEOPLE--THE BABY BOY, THE MOM, DAD, GRANDPARENTS. I JUST COULDN'T UNDERSTAND HOW LIFE EVOLVES WITH ALL THE BITTERNESS. AFTER DON LAID DOWN THE RULES!!!!, HE LOOKED AT ME WITH SUCH SAD EYES AND SAID, "YOU HAVE TO QUIT CARING SO MUCH". I HAD CALLED THE COURT HOUSE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE GAL IN THE CASE, TALKED TO A WORKER DOWN THERE. AFTER MY CONPLAINT REGARDING THE GAL'S FEES, I SAID MY SON'S ATTY SHOULD HAVE CHARGED MORE FOR HIS TIME. THE CLERK I TALKED TO ASKED THE NAME OF MY SON'S ATTY. I SAID "DON RAY". SHE SAID SHE HAS HEARD THAT SAME THING OF HIM A NUMBER OF TIMES. HOW MANY ATTYS DO THAT? MAYBE IF MORE OF THEM WERE EVEN FAIR, WE WOULDN'T HAVE SO MANY "ATTYS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA JOKES". DON PROBABLY MAY NOT BE THE BEST AT FOLLOWING UP, BUT IF HE IS DUE IN COURT HE IS THERE. WHENEVER WE HAVE NEEDED HIM, HE HAS GONE OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELP US. I GUESS A CLIENT HAS TO DECIDE HIS OWN PERSONALITY; ASK THEMSELVES IF THEY WANT AN EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ATTY WHO WILL MAKE HIS APPEARANCE IN THE COURTROOM SCARE THE "OPPOSING TEAM", DEAL WITH DON'S CONFIDENCE IN HIMSELF, AND WIN THEIR CASE, THEY HAVE THEIR SAVIOUR. I WONDER HOW MANY HAVE ATTYS. THAY THEY FEEL ARE TRUE FRIENDS. GOD BLESS YOU, DON. AND I THANK GOD FOR MY FRIEND WHO REFERRED YOU TO MY FAMILY.

I worked with Attorney Ray for over 2 years and my experience was that every time he came to court he was unprepared and would ask me to brief him. 1 time did not show up for a court date and I always had to call or e-mail to find out the next court date. He would not return calls or e-mails. Even... sent me an appology asking for a 2nd chance to do better. I gave him the chance and still no better. Did I mention after 2 years of no progress he wanted to remove himself from the case. Not professional at all. Forced me to hire a new attorney and my child support issues were taken care of in less than 6 months.
