I can honestly say I sleep better at night knowing Mr.Ray is working hard for my children's best interest! Although we still have a long road ahead of us, he has already done quite an amazing job at thoroughly explaining and simplifying many of the legal aspects that can be confusing to those who ha...ve never been through a divorce! He has always treated me with respect and patience, and if you know how busy lawyers are, then it goes without saying that finding one who doesn't make you feel insignificant, is beyond priceless! Don was a good lawyer up front, he helped me out and pointed me into the right direction. He would explain things to you in a calm manor but when it came to court. my custody battle was dragged out over two years, yet to be finished. Don wouldn't answer emails unless it was something he needed. He al...so left me into a situation from his negligence leaving me to pay a fine to the court. Not happy with his performance and unprofessionalism in the end. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Call me a late bloomer, so what! After having a consultation with Attorney David Ray I am finally going to take a stance and do something about it! As he consulted me, I began to understand my lack of motivation for many years is what caused me to ignored this problem. Mr Ray specifically explained t...o me about certain procedures I never understood and encouraged me making me believe that I still have the opportunity to improve my situation by actually doing something about it. "How can I say I have been denied a passport due to arrears in child support, if I have never applied for one?" He explained to me helping me understand that just maybe the department of Family and Human services may not have a lien against a person passport application process that owes child support. He explained and was sincere to me how I am better off saving money by retaining a lawyer from another state like Michigan where one of my baby momma lives in, instead of retaining him because it would be a waste of time and most importantly money. He explained the difference of state and federal level. He gave me an illustration in terms of dollars and cents in how it would be a lot easier to get the other "baby momma " to agree to a lump sum before going before a judge to forgive arrears I owe her. Then he mentioned the clean slate program Illinois has for people like myself who owes thousands of dollars due to encarceration in my past. This consultation has motivated me to get certain procedures started and that there just might be a possibility that things can turn around for me. Very disrespectful and rude, I came to him thinking he could help, I saw good reviews and everything but don't judge someone by what other people say about him. I tried to explain to him I was seeing someone else, didn't feel like I trusted the other Lawyers and wanted someone to understand my sistua...tion and he has the nerve to say I don't care; he has a bad attitude, If he isn't getting paid he could careless about you or you're family. He has hung up on me on purpose three times, I would NOT risk it.
