Biography
Attorney David N. Metnick joined Hupy and Abraham in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Assistant State’s Attorney at the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted hundreds of felony cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall Law School in 2006 and is licensed to practice in Illinois. Attorney Metnick has tried over 100 trials, including 40 jury trials.
In 2025, he was the Rockford Register Star’s What Rocks Community's Choice Awards Winner in the Best Attorney and Best Attorney (Personal Injury) categories.
He is committed to serving the community he has called home for the last 15 years.
