Agents are supposed to be on your side. not your opponent

Word for the best interest of layman, who are looking for an attorney who will fully represent them without waivering, and then will later leave you . Sadly, a agent, that you trusted, and had 100% confidence in ;so much that you dismissed your own voice when you could have been proactive independ...ently to help your case be resolved fairly. Because without doing so you chance your case will br left dead in the water ,for years, during the litagation process but you later discover that there was no real legal moves, under the law, that did take place to expedite justice on behalf of your litagation matter. Of course, one shouldn't expect for their Agent to be an arch enemy to the opposing Agent, nor for your Agent to take your case personally, nor your Agent to take ownership of it; nor for your Agent to ,even worse ,delay your case out so long that most other Agents will not want to take your case on; because when they review the court docs, they call it: "A mess". pointing out flaws in disbelief to what they are looking at (so embarrassing). However, you, layman, should expect ALL Agents of the court to do what's lawfully right ;without any potential suspicion on your part that back room money deals have potentially been made, negligence, malpractice, or any other potential antics are taking place at your unawares. Take the lead in your case,. Do not let your case be delayed out for years with no real progression of it in sight, and you' later discover that so many implementation could have been done, on behalf of your case , and also tvital information communicated, by your agent, to the presiding judge; especially if fraud and perjury knowingly was committed, by fraudsters, well before legal steps are taken to go to trial. Additionally. not limited to knowing that the opposing attorney did not follow his/her fidicuary duty as a officer of the court. Bottom line, do not trust words; but have full confidence in action, which will be for your highest good; .but more importantly, the highest good of your legal case. For layman who know of the higher power, no worries, He's a cardio-knower and the greatest judge, attorney or man walking this earth.

Thorough

I have a complicated problem - or I thought so before a conversation with Kevin. He knows how to get to the heart of the matter and offer quick and direct solutions. The guy knows his stuff.

Doesn’t care about you except your money

Failed me. We agreed for $5000 upfront. It was flat fee for the process. Yet after dome time he had a nerve to tell me that he needs more or he will not proceed. It would be honest to just tell me I do not have a chance like the next lawyer told me. Do Kevin wanted to play the case and milk money fro...m me despite his “flat fee” deal, Another thing - he didn’t remember my name and he never bothered to look it up before our meetings. Shame!

Do not use this attorney for anythinh

I hired Mr. O'Rourke after my father died. I am a nurse went to Puerto Rico's island to volunteer during the pandemic. He took my money, lied, said he would refund me as I reported him to the attorney state bar and disciplinary commission of illinois. He has been ordered to return my money. Not...a Penny and that was last year . He claims he is a "bulldog" he made situations worse. He is awful and a terrible attorney.

Recommended Lawyer

The case I brought to him was on a short time line and required a bulldog's approach and he did not disappoint. His knowledge of how the Cook County Court System works was impressive as was his list of contacts in the legal community. I intend to use him again if I require legal help.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. Kevin worked with me on a case in which I was the Executor of the Estate. It was a very complicated and highly contentious matter, and Kevin provided great counsel. I have since referred my own clients to him for probate matters since I practice a different type of law. They have all been happy with his services as well."

Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter

"I recently represented the purchaser in a complex real estate transaction in which Mr. O'Rourke was representing the seller of the property. Mr. O'Rourke had to navigate through several areas of law to close the transaction. Mr. O'Rourke's legal knowledge was invaluable in getting the deal closed. I was truly impressed with Kevin's knowledge and abilities. I would highly recommend Mr. O'Rourke."

"I endorse this lawyer. Our case matter involved complex legal issues as well as a deeply personal conflict among the parties. Kevin was skillful, empathetic, objective and fair throughout the case and was instrumental in steering the parties toward resolution. Based upon my experience with him, I am confident that Kevin would be fair, impartial, and hard-working; an attorney who would seek just results in for his client in every case."
