Kristan started out ok reviewing the real estate contract, but that was about it. She waited until the very end of the attorney review period to send a response to the seller's attorney, and only when I asked what was happening. She did not keep me informed, and was down to the wire on asking fo...r extensions to the mortgage contingency and closing dates. She would not send me copies of documents. I can't receive faxes and she couldn't send anything through email. Her excuse for late responses was that she was always at closings. She has no back-up at the office. I called her in the office once at the time she told me to call, and she asked me to call back in 5 min. When I called back, she was talking to someone else in the background the entire time. I finally had to replace her, since she didn't respond to a letter for over a week or even acknowledge that she received it. I definitely do NOT recommend Kristan Richards.

I hired Kristan three times, two of them were my real estate closings. She is a great communicator and she knows what she does. I trust her to take care of my closings and I do not have to show up for closings. The third deal was for a non-profit organization, she completed the work without any fee.... As a real estate agent I recommend her service to my clients.

We have used Kristan for all of our real estate transactions in Chicago and Oak Park. She was fantastic. Kristan has always been very knowledgeable and responsive to our needs, but she has also displayed the willingness to go above and beyond when necessary. On one transaction, we were able to clo...se at 5pm on Friday of a holiday weekend mainly due to Kristan's persistence and ability to corral all parties and get the deal done at the last minute. She has always acted as a true partner and we will undoubtedly use her for all future real estate transactions.

My wife and I used Kristan R. when we purchased a home in Oak Park to close, and then when we sold the same house five years later. She was very helpful both times, and I would highly recommend her. She had all the documents prepared for when we purchased, and my wife was out of town for the closing.... When we sold our house, she dropped all the documents off at my workplace, and picked them up from me. She made the whole process so easy and pain free - not stressful.
