Kristan started out ok reviewing the real estate contract, but that was about it. She waited until the very end of the attorney review period to send a response to the seller's attorney, and only when I asked what was happening. She did not keep me informed, and was down to the wire on asking fo...r extensions to the mortgage contingency and closing dates. She would not send me copies of documents. I can't receive faxes and she couldn't send anything through email. Her excuse for late responses was that she was always at closings. She has no back-up at the office. I called her in the office once at the time she told me to call, and she asked me to call back in 5 min. When I called back, she was talking to someone else in the background the entire time. I finally had to replace her, since she didn't respond to a letter for over a week or even acknowledge that she received it. I definitely do NOT recommend Kristan Richards.

Kristan was really great! My realtor recommended her to me for the closing of my condo. I have had maybe 3 attorneys that ive worked with in my life, and most have been busy/stuffy/nonresponsive. She is sweet, personable, and knows her stuff, but most of all -gave me her time and advice that most o...ther attorneys would charge more for. I would highly recommend her!!
