Impressed and eternally grateful GC case client

I am a software and research engineer, who works for one of the major US public universities. Last year I successfully applied for National Interest Waiver (NIW) Green Card with the help of Bill and his law firm. What I liked about working with Bill and his assistants is that they were trying to kee...p things straight and simple for me as a client during the whole process. Another great thing about Bill is that he is able accurately evaluate client's chances for a successfull case before taking it, which tells me that he is very experienced immigration lawyer and a honest person, and it is really important for him to keep a good track record of positively resolved cases. Also I'm grateful to Bill and Rob that they were patient and supportive, when things became a bit complicated because of time constraints. Unfortunately I wasn't able to meet and thank Bill personally, because I live in a different city and Bill handled my case remotely via e-mails and phone (By the way, there were no communications related problems at all because of that). His services worth every penny I paid to him. I guess you can find cheaper, but it would be hard to find better and IMHO immigration matters are not the thing, where you would want to save few bucks and put your immigration status in US at risk. Bottom line: My application was submitted to INS last summer and I received Green Card in less than 3 months after that. Probably that was not a record time for NIW cases, but me and my friends and colleagues were extremely impressed. There is no question for me now, who I will ask first to handle any of my future immigration issues.

A guiding light in the turbulent waters of U.S. immigration

Prior to meeting Bill, I was referred to another immigration lawyer who apparently had as much knowledge of our immigration procedure as we did. She filled us with fear and dread, gave us no meaningful info and offered no course of action, then billed us for wasting OUR time. Enter Bill; he assess...ed our situation and laid out multiple possible courses of action, including their consequences. Bill, Yllka and Olga were honest, and kept us on track and informed at every step. We were especially thankful to them for keeping us on track, considering our busy schedule and us not being able to devote enough time to our immigration issue (not to mention the constantly changing immigration policies that kept impacting our case). We were also thankful for their personable and friendly demeanor. Worth every penny!

A Great Immigration Lawyer

Professor Schiller is a great immigration lawyer. His in-depth knowledge in the immigration laws, detailed analysis of the case and realistic approaches to resolve the complicated issues resulted the timely successful approval of the immigration petition we have. I am very impressed with his responsi...veness, genuine honest guidance to our questions. I would strongly recommend Professor Schiller to my friends for their immigration matters.

Professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with – an excellent experience

Bill Schiller of Davidson and Schiller handled our family immigration petition for obtaining a Green Card as highly trained professionals under the NIW (National Interest Waiver) category. Bill came highly recommended by my husband’s international colleagues – scientists working at Fermi National Lab...oratory - as an immigration attorney with high standards, good business practice and high success rate in resolving immigration petitions. My husband and I are both scientists, and at the time we met Bill we were both post-doctoral researchers. Bill met with both of us, assessed our backgrounds and CVs and made the right recommendation on how to proceed about our immigration intentions. He was very open, sincere and upfront about our case’s chances of approval, as well as about the total cost down the line (attorney fees and government fees). He carefully explained the application and provided his best estimate about the timeline for this process. In fact, his policy was not to take on an immigration case if the chances of a positive outcome were slim. We interacted with Bill and the legal aides at his practice for more than a year and we always had a pleasant experience: communication by phone and e-mail was fast and professional, he was always reachable, the turn-around time for generating documents from his office was fast and we were kept informed at all times about the progress. His billing practice is open and fair and compared with other offices the fees are lower. Bill was personally involved in handling our case from the beginning until the approval of our petition. We obtained our Green Cards on December 2008. Bill really made a difference as he cared not only about the case but also about our family. I believe that it is his personal involvement in his cases that make him very successful. We continue to keep in touch with Bill and sometime we approach him with various immigration questions. He always takes time to talk with us and to answer our questions. We will definitely retain Bill for help with our naturalization process. I am strongly recommending Bill and his practice for all your immigration issues.

Green Card

Bill Schiller was recommended to me by my brother in law, also an attorney in Chicago. I was told Bill was the best immigration lawyer in the greater Chicago area and in my experience that is absolutely accurate. At our first meeting Bill told me the expected costs for his work, what information I ...would have to provide and what the process involved. Throughout the process I was provided with accurate information from Bill and his team. This was a stressful time but knowing this man is doing his best for you and guiding you through the process makes it a whole lot easier. I would recommend Bill to anyone that needs any kind of assistance or advice regarding immigration law.
