Review of my attorney

I am a physician-scientist based in Chicago and I hired Mr. Bill Schiller upon many of my colleagues’ recommendation. As many other people I was concerned about the green card process and its impact in my career’s future. Bill displayed a great level of professionalism and efficiency, and the process... went “fast and smooth”. All his initial plans proved to be accurate and successful (I got the green card 4 months after filing the petition!). Also, Bill took care of swiftly addressing all my concerns (he takes literally minutes to answer most of the e-mails). I strongly feel Mr. Bill Schiller is an outstanding lawyer, and an honest person, and I would recommend him with absolutely no reservations.

Great attorney!

I've known Bill for over 4 years. He and his staff helped me with my petition to remove conditions on my green card. At the time I filed, I was divorced, which made my case more difficult. Bill and his staff were hands on from the very beginning; they were very knowledgeable about the process and th...e participants. I couldn't have done it without them. I highly recommend Bill to anyone who needs help with their immigration process.

Best US Immigration Lawyer

Bill Schiller is an outstanding immigration lawyer and absolute expert in different aspects of immigration law (e.g. National Interest Waiver/Extra Ordinary Ability, Immigration thru family and Asylum). I HIGHLY recommend Bill Schiller. I hired him first in 2002 and he is now handling my naturalizat...ion case. Since I first worked with him, I have followed friends and family members (including my sister) who worked with Mr. Schiller in different cases and they have all been very satisfied with his extremely professional work. I have seen his work in particularly complicated cases like VAWA (Violence Against Women Act), National Interest Waiver and several asylum cases (based on religion and sexual orientation). He has always impressed me not only with his knowledge of the immigration law but also in the background of each immigration category. I am a physician scientist and find it amazing how much he knows about the research in this field and I assume it is from all the cases he handles for other scientists. He knows the country conditions for asylum cases very well and has handled many cases successfully. I am sure there are other knowledgeable attorneys out there but what sets him apart is that he handles each case as if he is handling a case for his own family member. He goes thru the emotions with you and understands them. He is extremely ethical and always makes sure the case he is accepting and representing is a legitimate case. Bill is therefore very well respected in the field and in fact teaches asylum course at the Northwestern University as an adjunct professor. Money is never the most important thing for him. His fees are reasonable and he is very flexible. His staff and other lawyers who work with him are all very nice and knowledgeable. I have talked to his business partner, Mr. Davidson, another top Chicago lawyer. Unlike most lawyers, Bill Schiller is very approachable. I even called him once on a weekend when I was stuck at the US border! I know that he handles case throughout the country and flies to all different offices to represent the cases. So, he is not just the top Chicago Immigration lawyer. He is the top US immigration lawyer as well as a human right activist and a great teacher.

A Great Immigration Lawyer

Professor Schiller is a great immigration lawyer. His in-depth knowledge in the immigration laws, detailed analysis of the case and realistic approaches to resolve the complicated issues resulted the timely successful approval of the immigration petition we have. I am very impressed with his responsi...veness, genuine honest guidance to our questions. I would strongly recommend Professor Schiller to my friends for their immigration matters.

A guiding light in the murky waters that is Immigration Law...

I have worked with Bill Schiller for the last 10 years. He has seen me through the stages of B1 (tourist) to F1 (student) to H1B (work) and onto a permanent resident status. Unlike other lawyers, Bill took a personal interest in my case and was actively involved all the way through. His billing pract...ices were fair and clear. Him and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure that my case was handled in the most timely and cost efficient manner possible. Bill has also worked with my family's case spanning 2 decades. I cannot recommend him enough. He understands the little nuances and the anxiety that comes with being an immigrant and going through the various legal channels. He served, not only as my legal counsel, but also provided much needed reassurance in my most anxious of moments. Bill and his staff made the entire filing process worry free. He took care of all the deadlines, stayed in touch throughout the process and explained every little detail. Bill and his staff were easily reachable and were always there to address every question and concern I had. In an era of uncertainty and ever changing immigration laws, you need someone you can trust and depend on. Bill and his team are just the ones to work with!
